Community Outreach

Sibley participates in various community education events in the community.

Knowledge is Power

Each year Sibley’s Sullivan Center for Breast Health offers a free seminar called “Knowledge is Power” to inform women about screening, updates in treatments, managing side effects, and more. The program is an opportunity for patients, survivors and the general public to gain knowledge about the latest in breast health from the interdisciplinary team at Sibley.

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

Since 2003, people have been coming together to walk 39 miles to stop breast cancer. Annually, Sibley employees and physicians volunteer staff hours as the medical team at the Washington D.C. event.
