Johns Hopkins Activity and Mobility Promotion (AMP)™ is an inter-professional program aiming to support hospitals and health care providers that want to change the culture of patient immobility, providing frontline caregivers and hospital leaders with the tools and support needed to design and implement structured quality improvement processes to successfully increase patient activity and mobility.
By focusing on mobility, we are able to improve patient outcomes, expedite recovery time and shorten length of stay. Introducing this initiative has led to greater patient engagement and improved experience. More importantly, we are able to bring patients back to independence.
