Mobility in Practice Quarterly Competitions

The Johns Hopkins Activity and Mobility Program team invites you to join our quarterly mobility-in-practice competitions. We hope to foster a culture of continuous improvement in inpatient mobility by hosting quarterly competitions that showcase innovative strategies, share evidence‑based best practices and celebrate teams who advance safe and effective patient movement.

Through collaboration, education and friendly competition, we aim to elevate mobility outcomes, reduce patient risk and empower staff to deliver the highest standard of care.

Who Can Participate

The competitions are open to any hospital or medical institution in the U.S. or internationally that implemented or is in the process of implementing a patient mobility program. There is no limit on the number of submissions per organization; all departments and units are encouraged to participate.

How to Participate

To join the competition, submit photos, videos or other materials related to the quarterly theme. Each quarter, we will explore different topics related to activity and mobility promotion.
