The Berman Pavilion (formerly the Health Care and Surgery Center), located adjacent to the hospital (to the right of the main hospital entrance), is home to The Center for Ambulatory Surgery (TCAS).
The Center for Ambulatory Surgery occupies the entire lower level of the Berman Pavilion and consists of six operating rooms, one minor procedure room, a urology suite, and a post-anesthesia care unit. Space and programs have also been designed to meet the needs of pediatric surgery patients and their families. This is the primary location for inpatient and outpatient procedures, including mammogram, infusion and transfusion.
Johns Hopkins Medicine has comprehensive Health Care and Surgery Centers at additional locations.
There also are more than 40 Johns Hopkins Community Physicians locations throughout Maryland providing high-quality primary care.

Mark Landrum, M.D., Chief of Infectious Disease at Howard County General Hospital, details the efforts made to ensure a safe environment for our patients and staff as we resume elective surgeries. Many procedures were postponed due to the pandemic and we look forward to welcoming you back to our hospital.
