With more than 15,000 visits each year, the Harriet Lane Clinic (HLC) is the largest continuity clinic for pediatric residents at Johns Hopkins, with nearly 50 residents serving as primary care providers. For more than a century, the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Harriet Lane Clinic (HLC) has provided primary health care services to the East Baltimore community. As the nation’s first pediatric hospital affiliated with an academic research institution, it has evolved to become a widely recognized community-engaged model for training future pediatricians.
