Patient Support During Construction
To help make parking as easy as possible during construction, we will have:
- Clearly marked detour and directional signage

- Shuttle services:
- Security escorts: Johns Hopkins maintains round-the-clock security. Public safety officers posted inside and outside our buildings continuously patrol all areas of our campuses. For security assistance or to request a walking escort, call 410-550-0333.

New Ticketless System: How It Works
- Quick entry
When you arrive, drive slowly toward the gate. The system will read your license plate and open the gate automatically. No ticket is needed. - Park Your Vehicle
Find a parking spot and head to your appointment. Be sure to note your license plate number. On the way, you will see signs with QR codes you can scan to register your license plate. The new technology will measure length of stay. - Pay After Your Visit
Payment can be made by:- Scanning a payment QR code using a smartphone before you leave.
- Using a pay-on-foot terminal and entering your car’s license plate number.
- Paying at the exit gate, if payment has not already been completed.
- Smooth Exit
When you leave, the gate will recognize your license plate. If you have already paid, you can exit automatically. If not, you can pay at the exit.
