Support for People with Oral Head and Neck Cancer

Support for People with Oral, Head and Neck Cancer (SPOHNC) is a patient-directed self-help organization dedicated to meeting the needs of Oral and Head, and Neck Cancer Patients. This is a free support program for patients and/or families/caregivers. All are welcome regardless of stage of disease or recovery. The group offers information, education and support, medical advice is not provided.

Meetings are held every second Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 PM via Zoom. Dates include:

  • April 10th
  • May 8th
  • June 12th

For 2024 we are going to continue to meet on Zoom. This month 2 SLP graduate students at Towson University, Julia Dougherty and Rebecca Cazes, will lead us in a discussion: "Molding the Minds of Future Clinicians: What You Think They Should Know."
