Neurofibromatosis Specialists

Our team of NF1, NF2 and schwannomatosis specialists works together to provide the safest and most effective treatment for patients. The core members of our neurofibromatosis care team include genetic counselors, neurologists, neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons and vascular surgeons.

Other Members of Your Neurofibromatosis Care Team

Our center has the full expertise of Johns Hopkins at its disposal. If needed, world-renowned specialists from other fields will join your care team. The specific doctors and health care professionals involved will depend on your tumor, symptoms and treatment. These areas could include:

  • Audiology
  • Dermatology
  • Genetics
  • Oncology
  • Ophthalmologists
  • Orthopedic surgeons
  • Otolaryngology (ENT)
  • Pain Medicine
  • Plastic surgeons
  • Radiology

Social workers will also help coordinate care after the patient leaves the hospital.
