Living with Cancer Resource Program
Caregiver Cafe
Are you taking care of or supporting someone with cancer? You are invited to our Caregiver Cafe to relax, meet other caregivers and ask your questions. Thursdays from 11-12 in the Weinberg 5th floor waiting area across from the visitor elevators. No reservations needed. All caregivers are welcome. Who Helps You Make Medical Decisions?
Who will make medical decisions for you in the event you are unable to do so? Have you prepared a Health Care Power of Attorney and named a Heath Care Agent? Stop by Weinberg 1210 for information about an advance directive, living will and selecting a health care agen, or call 410-955-8934.
Image Recovery Centers at Johns Hopkins
The center is designed to assist patients who are experiencing the cosmetic side effects of cancer therapy. Their complementary consultations include information on hair alternatives, head wear, and specifically formulated skin care products for usage during and after chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The Patient Education Series Ask the Expert is an opportunity for patients, families, staff and visitors to ask questions and receive handouts on a given topic. No reservations needed.
