Addiction Medicine Unit

The Addiction Medicine Unit (AMU) is an 18-bed inpatient medical unit that provides safe, medical detoxification for those addicted to alcohol or benzodiazipines.

Other services offered by unit staff include health education and recovery groups (including a 12-step program). We also have a social worker and peer recovery coach on staff for support and after-care planning.

Admissions

Admission screenings are facilitated through the Intake Office, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are required. To make an appointment or learn more, please contact our intake offices 410-550-1910.
