People who will have, or have had, a solid organ transplant and those who have received treatment for cancer have unique infection prevention and control needs associated with immunosuppression. Our team of infectious diseases specialists collaborate with other specialties on the Johns Hopkins Transplant Medicine team to ensure high quality care for solid organ transplant and oncology patients, and they lead research on infectious diseases prevention and treatment for improved patient outcomes.
