Adult Community Programs
Johns Hopkins has partnered with several area organizations to provide job training opportunities to adults residing in communities throughout East Baltimore and Greater Baltimore.
Participants receive customized occupational skills training to prepare them for entry-level employment with JHH/JHHS. These valuable life skills include attendance, punctuality, office etiquette, appearance standards and customer service.
Through relationships with local city agencies and community-based organizations, we create a channel for community residents and targeted populations to take advantage of job opportunities in the health care arena. Some of our partnering organizations are:
- Caroline Center
- Lutheran Social Services
- Casa de Maryland
- Esperanza Center
- St. Vincent de Paul
- Catholic Charities
- Marian House
- Humanim
- House of David
- Jericho
