Advance Care Planning for Howard County Residents

Howard County residents can come to Howard County General Hospital to get free help from experienced staff in thinking through care wishes, completing an advance directive and electronically storing it for easily access by healthcare providers. Having your advance directive on file at your hospital allows providers to follow your wishes if you are ever in the hospital and unable to communicate. If you are interested, please contact Karen Shelton, advanced care planning program coordinator, at [email protected], or 443-518-6684.
