- Have you been on Medicare for a while but want to deepen your understanding of the different types of coverage available to you and what you should consider when comparing those options? This Medicare refresher class will provide a quick review of the parts of Medicare and then help you better understand the two paths to Medicare coverage (Original Medicare vs Medicare Advantage/Health Plans), including when you can change plans. You will also learn helpful hints on becoming a more active participant in your health care. Additional topics include helpful resources, benefit programs that help with the cost of Medicare, and how to protect yourself from Medicare fraud.
