Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS): Mohammad's Story

Mohammad grew concerned when the swelling of his hand became increasingly noticeable and lasted for more than a week. Doctors in his home country identified three blood clots as the cause, but were unable to provide a clear treatment plan.

In search of answers, Mohammad traveled to Johns Hopkins to see vascular surgeon Dr. Ying Wei Lum, who identified his condition as Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Dr. Lum successfully treated Mohammad, allowing him to return to a normal life.
