Due to COVID-19, we have updated our visitor policy to keep our patients and our community safe.
All laboring mothers will receive a rapid-COVID 19 test upon arrival at the labor and delivery unit. If they have brought a support person with them, this visitor will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms.
- If COVID-19 negative, patients are allowed one (1) visitor during active labor and delivery and immediately after delivery. If COVID-19 positive, patients are not allowed a visitor.
- If you are having a Cesarean birth and test negative for COVID-19, you are allowed one support person in the operating room and recovery room. Your support person must pass a COVID-19 screening assessment and live with you.
- Children under the age of 18 are not allowed to visit in Labor and Delivery.
- You may have one visitor stay with you overnight in the postpartum unit but they will not be allowed to reenter if they leave the premises.
