The Johns Hopkins Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics has a deeply rooted history in training exceptionally talented residents. Our mission is to train the next generation of teachers, leaders and researchers at the forefront of women’s health. Residents graduate with a great fund of knowledge and surgical expertise, ready to pursue any avenue of gynecology and obstetrics they desire.
Hear from our residents and learn why they chose Johns Hopkins, their experience training across Johns Hopkins Medicine and living in Baltimore.
Come along with us on a virtual walkthrough of our hospital and the spaces our residents frequently use.
The success of the Johns Hopkins Gynecology and Obstetrics Residency Program is a team effort. When you join our program, you gain a group of faculty mentors and resident advocates. Additionally, we have faculty leadership in place to facilitate resident learning experiences at our three major hospitals.
We have dedicated residency staff to help ensure the successful running of our day-to-day rotations, Friday school didactics, CREOG/FLS prep and testing, 360 evaluations, and general well-being of our residents and leadership.
