Biography

Kimberly Zeren, M.S.N., C.R.N.P., serves as the director of operations for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians' National Capital Region. In this role, N.P. Zeren oversees the operation of nine primary care practices. After earning her advanced degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, N.P. Zeren spent time on the nursing faculty at University of Kentucky/Lexington Community College before finding her way to Johns Hopkins University. There she served seven years in a client management and nurse practitioner role in the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health. In 2007, N.P. Zeren joined Johns Hopkins Community Physicians as the practice administrator for the Frederick practice, before being promoted to her current role in 2015. In addition to her practice administrator and director of operations roles, N.P. Zeren also served as a primary care provider at Frederick, specializing in family practice, with interest in women's health, and currently serves as a float provider in Johns Hopkins Community Physicians practices throughout the national capital region. She also has a part-time faculty appointment for Johns Hopkins Medicine. In 2017, N.P. Zeren became the first nurse practitioner inducted into the Johns Hopkins Community Physicians Academy of Clinical Excellence.
