Biography

Ta-Ya Lee, D.N.P., D.A.O.M., Ph.D., M.P.H., M.B.A., C.R.N.P., Dip.OM, LAc, is an internal medicine provider for Johns Hopkins Medicine Primary VirtualCare. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, and both her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. N.P. Lee has also earned a master of acupuncture, a master of business administration and a master of public health. She has practiced primary care for more than 25 years, and speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese.

N.P. Lee is also a licensed acupuncturist with a Ph.D. in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She practices patient-centered care in the traditions of both Eastern and Western Medicine. She enjoys practicing internal medicine with an interest in non-pharmacological intervention to support conventional therapy.

N.P. Lee is from Taiwan, Republic of China. In her free time, she enjoys cross-stitch, water aerobics, playing piano and traveling.
