Mary Theresa Forbes, C.R.N.P., M.S.N., is a family medicine provider with Johns Hopkins Medicine Primary VirtualCare. N.P. Forbes earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Salisbury State University. N.P. Forbes has had a passion for the medical field from a young age.
She has experience in general surgery, emergency medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, rheumatology, urgent care and hospital medicine. N.P. Forbes is a caring and deeply empathetic provider. These qualities guide her work and relationships in medicine. She prides herself on treating her patients as if they are family.
Beyond patient care, N.P. Forbes has many personal pursuits. She has renovated old homes for most of her adult life and has a fondness for the Chesapeake Bay, on which she raced sailboats for many years, and continues to kayak and paddle board. N.P. Forbes is also an accomplished seamstress, repairing sailboat sails, and sewing thousands of masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also enjoys podcasts and audiobooks.
