Raquel Gonzalez, M.D.
Interim Medical Director
Dr. Gonzalez is a pediatric and surgical critical care surgeon, and interim medical director of the Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Institute at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2017. She was previously the surgical critical care fellowship program director at the Detroit Medical Center and also served as a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association Surgical Critical Care Committee. Dr. Gonzalez received her medical degree from the University Of Puerto Rico School Of Medicine and trained in general surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Gonzalez then completed a surgical critical care fellowship at University of Michigan Health Systems & CS Mott Children’s Hospital and a pediatric surgery fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She subsequently completed a Master’s in Health Care Management at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is fluent in Spanish.
Anthony (Tony) Napolitano, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Neonatology
Dr. Napolitano is the interim neonatology division chief in the Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Institute at Johns Hopkins All Children's. He also serves as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Affiliate Medical Affairs at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, medical director for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Care Network, medical director for the Johns Hopkins All Children’s LifeLine Transport team that services more than 1,000 critical care patients annually, and chair of the Department of Pediatric Medicine. He began as a neonatologist at All Children’s in 1988. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the sections of Perinatal Pediatrics and Transport Medicine. He has served as a member and past president of the Florida Society of Neonatology.
Suzanne Icely, M.D.
Obstetrics/Gynecology
Dr. Icely has practiced in the St. Petersburg area since 1998 and has been part of the adolescent gynecology program at All Children's Hospital since 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Icely completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida College, where she served as chief resident and twice received first-place research awards from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined OB/GYN Associates (now Johns Hopkins All Children's Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists) in 1998.
Jose Prieto, M.D.
Perinatology
Dr. Prieto is medical director of maternal-fetal medicine in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute. He specializes in the care of the mother and fetus in high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Prieto is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he also received a Master's in Public Health. He completed his residency in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center/Houston at L.B.J. General Hospital, where he was named Outstanding Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and Magee-Women's Hospital. He joined Maternal Fetal Medicine Associates in 1996. Dr. Prieto is the Clinical Practice Director for All Children's Perinatology Specialists.
