Volunteer Benefits

Thank you for all that you do to give back to the patients of the Johns Hopkins Hospital and their families. All volunteers in areas with direct patient contact, such as Childlife or direct patient impact such as Social Work are eligible for volunteer benefits. ONE of the following benefits are available to all eligible volunteers:

  • Complimentary parking for any shift lasting 4 hours or more.
  • 1 meal card worth $8 for any shift lasting 4 hours or more.
  • 2 MTA tokens per day for any shift lasting 4 hours or more.

Please note complimentary parking is available in any of the three garages listed below. To redeem please come into the Volunteer Services Office with your parking ticket each shift to have it validated.

  2. Caroline Garage
    JHOC circle next to the Armstrong Bldg. (AMEB)
    1501 E. Monument St.
  3. Washington Garage
    Next to 2024 Bldg. and opposite SOPH
    701 N. Washington St.

Base Parking allows volunteers to park in any garage for free on evenings and weekends. This is available to all volunteers who volunteer during the hours of 4 PM -7 AM Monday - Friday and all day on weekends. Please go to the Badge and ID office to request this option.
