Beacon Award: Suburban’s Intensive Care Unit received a bronze Beacon Award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) in 2018 for improving every facet of patient care. In 2019, the Progressive Care Unit received a silver Beacon Award from AACN for its exceptional patient care.

CNOR Strong Designation: Since April 2017, Suburban Hospital's Operating Room has been designated as CNOR Strong for its commitment to certification in operating room nursing.
