Evaluation and Credit FAQs

Credit information is located in the syllabus in the learning management system and on our conference website and includes the credit statements and the max number of hours.

The post-conference evaluation will be sent via email no later than mid-May and again in a reminder email in early June. Included in the email will be the deadline for completion.
- The evaluation must be completed to receive your certificate of credit.
- Please also check your junk and spam folders if you do not receive in your inbox.

Following the closure of the evaluation on June 14, you will receive an email with your certificate between June 25 - 30 (if the participant completes the evaluation) from [email protected].
If you are an Occupational Therapist, you also need to complete a pre and post-test assessment prior to and following the course. The links to the assessment will be posted in the learning management system.

You must fill out the evaluation noted above in order to receive a certificate of credits. If the evaluation is not filled out, we are unable to send you a certificate.
- Nursing, Occupational Therapists and Maryland PT will attest to credit hour completion and receive a certificate with credits denoted and the statement noted from the accrediting organization.
- Non-Maryland PTs will need to self-submit for credit approval. The certificate will indicate the Maryland PT approval for reference. Recommend also downloading the syllabus to support submission.
- Physicians and disciplines not noted above will receive a certificate of completion noting hours of completion.

Criteria for Awarding Contact Hours
After attending the conference, 90% of the respondents will be able to identify a harm associated with immobility of hospitalized inpatients, measured by a multiple-choice question on the post conference evaluation.

The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is an AOTA-approved provider of professional development. PD activity approval ID# 14449. This Distance Learning – Independent, Distance Learning - Interactive, and Live activity is offered at 2.75 CEUs (up to 27.5 contact hours pending registration selection). Knowledge is Intermediate to Advanced focused on OT Service Delivery, Professional Issues, and Foundational Knowledge. Must pass pre and post-test with 70% or greater. AOTA does not endorse specific course content, products, or clinical procedures.

Non-Maryland PTs will need to self-submit to their own state for credit approval.
