Services

It is recommended that prescriptions be faxed in advance of patient need to minimize the potential for extended wait times. The pharmacy should then be supplied with:

  • A photocopy of the patient's prescription insurance card indicating the primary cardholder (patient, spouse, etc.)
  • Patient's date of birth, address and phone number
  • Any patient allergies
  • A contact name and extension of the sender in the event that someone must be called regarding the prescription

Refills should be placed in advance to ensure staff has them ready for pick-up at the desk or in ScriptCenter Prescription Lockers.

Location Overview

The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Pharmacy offers a full inventory of standard, specialty and over-the-counter medications, as well as the convenience of discharge medication processing.  International patient pharmaceutical services are also available.

Parking

Guest parking is available at a number of convenient locations on campus. Patients and visitors can choose the closest lot or garage for their visit. Please note that parking fees apply:

  • 0-30 minutes: free
  • 30 minutes to 1 hour: $3
  • Up to 2 hours: $4
  • Up to 3 hours: $5
  • Up to 4 hours: $6
  • Up to 5 hours: $7
  • Up to 6 hours: $8
  • 7 to 24 hours: $12
