Out of abundance of caution during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are conducting all classes virtually via Zoom. This informative educational session will help you and your coach prepare for your upcoming surgery. During the class, we'll review important aspects of your care and what to expect during and after your hospital stay. Topics include diet and nutrition, exercises, infection prevention, anesthesia, pain reduction program, medications, physical therapy, occupational therapy and home safety checklists. You'll be able to ask questions about what to expect during your hospital stay and recovery.

Please note that these classes are for patients who have surgeries scheduled at Johns Hopkins Bayview. If your surgery is at a different location, please check with your surgeon's office on how to register for a pre-operative education session.
