Johns Hopkins OnDemand Virtual Care is currently available to members of Johns Hopkins Advantage MD and select Johns Hopkins Employer Health Program* insurance plans. This service is for adults and for children age 3 and older. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
*EHP Plans Include: Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation (including The John Hopkins Hospital, Bayview Medical Center, Howard County General Hospital, Suburban Hospital and Sibley Memorial Hospital), Johns Hopkins University, Broadway Services and Student Health plan.

Copayment will vary, based on your insurance coverage. Please check with your insurance provider. If a copayment is needed, it will be collected during the login process.

You will be placed into a virtual waiting room. On average, patients wait between seven to 10 minutes before being connected to a provider.

Via secure video, the health care provider will discuss your symptoms, answer your questions, make a diagnosis and recommend next steps.

You can have your Johns Hopkins OnDemand visit by phone, but you will have to request the phone visit through the Johns Hopkins OnDemand app or web browser.

If medications are necessary, your provider will send prescriptions to your participating pharmacy.

If additional, in-person care is needed, you will be referred back to your primary care provider.

If you saw a Johns Hopkins Medicine provider, by visiting the MyChart sign up portal. If you have trouble activating your account, you can call the help desk at 443-997-6225 Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
