Update Regarding Required Opioid Training for DEA Renewal
Providers renewing their DEA registrations after June 27, 2023, will be required to complete a one-time, eight-hour training on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. This requirement effects all DEA registrants regardless of whether they currently are or are not willing to prescribe buprenorphine to patients.

Great 8: In Basket Optimization Initiative
A curriculum for all members of the ambulatory healthcare team across Johns Hopkins Medicine. This program includes training for faculty/providers, clinical support teams, and leadership.
