The Experimental and Computational Genomics Core Shared Resource (ECCG) enables SKCCC investigators to harness the ongoing revolution in cancer genomics to accelerate their basic discoveries and translational research by providing state-of-the-art, integrated support across all aspects of genomics experiments, including experimental design, data collection, and computational/bioinformatics analysis.

Streamlining services, the ECGC SR combines Next Gen Sequencing (NGS), microarray analysis, bioinformatics, and related genomic services, it now provides Cancer Center users a one stop shop to handle their sequencing and analysis needs. This Shared Resource also offers guidance to increase proficiency in experimental design, data management, and biostatistics and bioinformatics analysis methods through hands-on and classroom-based courses, seminars and online modules.

Faculty leaders bring together multidisciplinary expertise in genomics technologies, computational biology and biostatistics/bioinformatics.
