Pediatric Transport Team
Our core team consists of highly trained EMS clinicians and pediatric critical care nurses. We also dispatch a respiratory care practitioner and/or a pediatric critical care fellow for transport of critically ill or injured children.
All of our nurses have over four years of pediatric critical care experience and are PALS, NRP, ABLS, BLS, and STABLE certified. Our paramedics are also ACLS certified.
Ongoing training is mandatory for the pediatric transport personnel. To maintain their proficiency, team members participate in a robust multidisciplinary educational program that includes transport and critical care didactics, case reviews, airway and procedural skills stations, as well as high-fidelity transport simulations.
