Awards and Recognition
Our pediatric emergency medicine faculty members are valued educators and many have been honored for their work. Awards and recognition include:
- Several inductions into the Distinguished Teaching Society of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
- Several members have received the Alexander “Buck” Schaeffer Award and the Teaching Honor Roll Award in recognition of outstanding contribution to the clinical teaching of Harriet Lane Residency house officers.
- Multiple faculty members have won the Frederick J. Heldrich Award for dedication and outstanding contribution to medical student teaching.
