Zachary Newton, M.D. - Third-Year Fellow

Zachary Newton received his undergraduate degree at Colby College and attended medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine. He completed his pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, where he also served as chief pediatric resident. Dr. Newton’s research interests include vitamin d deficiency and dyslipidemia in children with chronic kidney disease.

John McAteer, M.D. - First-Year Fellow

John McAteer received his undergraduate and M.P.H. degree at Boston University followed by medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his pediatric residency at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. McAteer's research interests include immunizations and vaccine-preventable infections in the pediatric solid organ transplant population, transplant nephrology, recurrent glomerular disease after kidney transplantation, infections amongst immunocompromised hosts and mechanisms of antimicrobial induced acute kidney injury. He is completing a combined fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases.

John Hammond, M.D. - First-Year Fellow

John Hammond received his undergraduate degree at Brown University and attended medical school at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He completed his pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Hammond’s research interest is Glomerular Disease.
