Call: Employee COVID-19 Call Center (ECCC) at 833-546-7546, 7am - 7pm, 7 days a week.


If you need clearance to return to work after being tested or recovering from illness or have non-COVID-19-related inquiries, please continue to call Occupational Health.


Fit-Testing at JHH

Starting on Tuesday, May 26, HSE will resume drop-in fit-testing.

Location & Time: Halsted 303 from 9:30 - 11:00 and 2:30 - 4:00 each weekday going forward

Only those staff who would need to enter a unit on Biomode or enter the room of a positive COVID patient or identified PUI are being fit-tested. Do not come to Hurd Hall to obtain an N-95 if you have already been tested.  To schedule a large group for on-site fit-testing, please contact us at

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) provides services and leadership in the areas of medical surveillance and environmental monitoring, the treatment of occupational illness and injuries, fire safety, biological safety, chemical safety, laboratory safety, facility and equipment safety,  employee safety training programs and the payment and adjudication of worker’s compensation claims.
