Once you and your new baby have been seen by a physician you will receive discharge instructions and information about your care, and your baby’s care at home. This is a great time to ask questions or share any concerns you might have. Make sure you get a phone number to call, should you have more questions once you get home. You can dress your baby in the going home outfit, weather-appropriate blanket and hat that you brought with you and a member of the nursing staff will escort you safely to your vehicle.
