Cancer

Howard County General Hospital has numerous community oncologists who are specially trained in the latest cancer treatments. The hospital’s outpatient services include technologically advanced radiation therapy located just off campus in the Medical Pavilion Building and an outpatient infusion center for chemotherapy, located adjacent to the hospital in the Medical Arts Building. Patients can have the convenience of receiving high-quality care without having to leave the community.

HCGH is a member of the CALGB (Cancer and Leukemia Group B), which allows oncology patients the opportunity to participate in national clinical-research protocols.
