COLUMBIA, Md. — Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine announces the appointments of Daryn Norwood and Rex O’Connor to its leadership team.
Daryn Norwood, Pharm.D., BCPS, joined the hospital as director of Pharmacy on Monday, Aug. 19. He comes to HCGH from MedStar Health system where he was, most recently, director of Pharmacy at Harbor Hospital. Norwood received his doctor of pharmacy degree from Howard University.
Rex O’Connor, MSN, RN, is the new senior director of Perioperative services, effective Aug. 6. O’Connor joins the HCGH team after serving most recently as assistant director of Perioperative Services at Kaiser Permanente in Halethorpe, Maryland. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, O’Connor completed his master’s degree in nursing at Notre Dame University of Maryland.
