How to Apply for a Urology Residency

*NOTE: Residency positions for 2020 have been filled. We are currently accepting applications for residencies to begin on July 1, 2021. Applicant interviews will be held virtually in December of 2020 (this is subject to change given the COVID-19 pandemic). 

Minimum Requirements 

Minimum requirements for acceptance into the urology residency program are: 

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school 
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland 

We review all applications and grant interviews based on your: 

  • Medical school record 
  • Research experience 
  • Extracurricular activities 
  • Letters of recommendation 

Applicants are ranked on the basis of high moral, ethical and professional qualifications by the Resident Selection Committee for final selection in the Urology Matching Program.

All residency applications for the Brady Urological Institute should be made through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS®)
