Clarimar Borrero-Mejias, MD
Neurology
Dr. Borrero-Mejias is a board-certified child neurologist in the Johns Hopkins All Children's Institute for Brain Protection Sciences. She joined the hospital staff in 2021. Her clinical expertise includes pediatric headache, epilepsy and tic disorders. Dr. Borrero-Mejias sees patients at our main campus in St. Petersburg and at our Outpatient Care locations in Tampa and Brandon.

Joshua Cousin, MD
Neurology
Dr. Cousin specializes pediatric neurology and epilepsy at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and sees patients at the hospital’s main campus in St. Petersburg, Florida. He joined the hospital staff in 2023. Dr. Cousin’s main areas of interest are medical and surgical management of pediatric epilepsy and neonatal neurology. He is also interested in ketogenic diet therapy for epilepsy and its role in often improving neurocognition in addition to its reduction in seizure burden.

Thomas Geller, MD
Neurology
Dr. Geller specializes in pediatric neurology for the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Institute for Brain Protection Sciences. He sees patients at the main campus in St. Petersburg and at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Outpatient Care, North Port. He joined the hospital staff in 2018. Dr. Geller previously was a pediatric neurologist and child neurology residency program director at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He retired as a captain from the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. His clinical and research interests include neurofibromatosis, neuro-oncology and pain management.

Michael Hammer, M.D.
Neurology
Dr. Hammer is a pediatric neurologist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He sees patients at the Outpatient Care Centers in Sarasota, Florida, and Lakewood Ranch, and at MCR Health in Bradenton. He was previously a pediatric neurologist with Advocate Medical Group in Illinois. Dr. Hammer earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in pediatrics at New York University – Bellevue Hospital, and residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York. He then completed a fellowship in child neurology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. His clinical interests include neurodevelopmental disabilities, including ADHD, autism and tics.

Christopher Inglese, MD
Neurology
Dr. Inglese specializes in pediatric neurology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and works primarily with hospitalized children and their follow-up care. He joined the medical staff in 2020. Before joining Johns Hopkins All Children’s, Dr. Inglese held several faculty appointments, including associate professor of pediatric neurology and director of the child neurology fellowship program at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He helped manage the wide spectrum of neurological disorders in pediatric patients, and received teaching and distinguished service accolades for mentoring trainees at numerous academic centers.

Stanley Iyadurai, MD, PhD
Neurology
Dr. Iyadurai is a pediatric neurologist who specializes in neuromuscular medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He joined the medical staff in 2019. Previously as an assistant professor of neurology and a neuromuscular specialist, Dr. Iyadurai had appointments at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Saint Louis University/Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. He specializes in neuropathies, myopathies, neuromuscular junction disorders including muscular dystrophies and motor neuron disorders, with a special interest in congenital myasthenic syndromes.

Richard Kanoff, DO
Neurology
Dr. Kanoff specializes in pediatric neurology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and works primarily with hospitalized children and their follow-up care. He joined the medical staff in 2020 and is certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in child neurology. Before joining Johns Hopkins All Children’s, Dr. Kanoff was the director of pediatric neurology and epilepsy education program at Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic in Minnesota.

Neel Parikh, MD
Neurology
Dr. Parikh specializes in pediatric neurology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. He joined the hospital staff in 2020. He earned his medical degree from University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean. He completed an internship and residency in pediatrics, followed by a residency in pediatric neurology at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric epilepsy at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
