Chemical Dependency Unit

The Chemical Dependency Unit (CDU) is a 26-bed inpatient medical unit that provides safe, medical detoxification for those addicted to alcohol, benzodiazipines and opiates. Other services offered by unit staff include health education and recovery groups (including a 12-step program), and guidance for setting up after-care.

Admissions

Admission screenings are facilitated through the Intake Office, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are preferred.** To make an appointment, please call 410-550-1910.

**"Walk-ins" will be screened, however there is no guarantee of bed availability.

Insurance Information

Most insurance plans are accepted. Intake staff can assist with any insurance questions. For more information, please call 410-550-1910.
