The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This regularly scheduled series has been approved for a 52-week cycle beginning July 1, 2025.

NOTICE ABOUT OFF-LABEL USE PRESENTATIONS

The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine/Department of Surgery Grand Rounds may include presentations on drugs or devices, or use of drugs or devices, that have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or have been approved by the FDA for specific uses only. The FDA has stated that it is the responsibility of the physician to determine the FDA clearance status of each drug or device he or she wishes to use in clinical practice.

MOC STATEMENT

Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) for the purpose of granting MOC credit after 45 days post activity.

AMERICAN BOARD OF SURGERY (ABS)

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program.

It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.
