Sarcoidosis Center

About Our Practice

The Sarcoidosis Center at Johns Hopkins was established by Dr. Carol J. Johns and is one of the longest-tenured clinics devoted to the evaluation and management of patients with known or suspected sarcoidosis in the United States.  The Sarcoidosis Clinic welcomes patients with sarcoidosis in all its forms, including:

  • Common manifestations of sarcoidosis, such as in the lung, eye and skin
  • Less common manifestations, including the brain, heart, liver, bone and kidney

The Johns Hopkins Sarcoidosis Clinic has established connections with experts in who evaluate and treat sarcoidosis affecting other major organs in the body including the heart, brain and eyes.  Additional information regarding resources at Johns Hopkins for patients with sarcoidosis involving the heart (cardiac sarcoidosis) can be found on the Johns Hopkins Cardiology website.
