Our faculty and clinicians provide outpatient assessments and treatment for persons with a variety of anxiety disorders using comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, second opinions, and consultations, as well as ongoing treatment with cognitive behavioral therapy and medications.
We see patients at two outpatient clinics, one at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Broadway Campus and another at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Both are staffed by faculty and clinicians to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, second opinions, and consultations. Ongoing treatment with cognitive behavioral therapy and medications is offered at the JH Bayview clinic. The clinic at the Johns Hopkins Hospital is a teaching setting for psychiatry resident physicians who are supervised by senior faculty in the Anxiety Disorders Program. The Johns Hopkins site is tailored to a longer initial evaluation, involving input from multiple psychiatrists, resulting in a detailed written report formulating diagnosis and recommendations for treatment.
