Location Overview

Depending on the problem, an ENTAA Care physician may recommend surgery for a patient or a family member. If surgery is needed, ENTAA Care may recommend having the procedure performed at Piney Orchard Surgery Center in Odenton. Piney Orchard is an outpatient surgery center owned and operated by ENTAA Care physicians (it is not affiliated with Johns Hopkins Health System). Located in the same building as ENTAA Care’s Odenton office, the center was designed to meet the needs of otolaryngic surgeons, patients, and their families. Its modern, fully equipped operating rooms are outfitted for ear, nose, throat, and sinus surgeries. The center is staffed by trained and experienced operating room nurses and technologists, and anesthesia is administered by board-certified anesthesiologists. The surgery center also offers emergency equipment and technology commonly found in hospital settings.

If a patient requires hospitalization, Piney Orchard has transfer agreements in place with Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis and Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. Piney Orchard Surgery Center is recognized by Medicare and most insurers.
