    From mid-March to mid-June, nurse Kelly Rosenberg stood in Suburban Hospital’s parking garage for hours each workday, swaddled head to toe in personal protective equipment as she gave drive-through COVID-19 tests.

    Suburban Hospital treated its first known COVID-19 patient in March 2020. The CDU was the first nursing team to care for COVID-positive patients and has been dedicated to caring for these patients ever since.

    In April 2020, Suburban opened a Resiliency Lounge to serve as a calming space where nurses and other staff could refresh, de-stress and recharge from the stress caused by the pandemic.
