The Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology is currently recruiting participants for a clinical trial focused on brain-computer interface (BCI) system research lead by Nathan Crone, M.D. The study aims to assess a BCI system and its ability to assist with communication for patients with severe movement and communication impairments.
Every treatment, medication and procedure available today was once tested as part of a clinical trial. These well-designed scientific studies help Johns Hopkins doctors continuously improve quality of life of our patients and further our understanding of many neurological conditions. The Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery offer a wide range of clinical trials that cover a multitude of disorders and conditions. By joining one of these studies, you will be helping our team gather data to advance the field of medicine.
