"The 12 of us first years are all extremely close and given the nature of our work it doesn't take long to become family. We see patients at their worst and sometimes it is shattering. There's not another group of 11 people I would want to put the pieces back together, not to mention the support from all of the upper-year fellows, chiefs, and program leadership."
