Bharill, Sonum, M.D.
Pediatric Endocrinology Fellow
Medical School: Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine
Residency: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center
Dr. Bharill received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Villanova University. She then attended medical school in Puerto Rico at the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine. After completing her pediatric residency training at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, she continued her training in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins in pediatric endocrinology.

Kang, Min Jung, M.D.
Pediatric Endocrinology Fellow
Medical School: St. George’s University School of Medicine
Residency: Elmhurst Hospital Center (Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Elmhurst Hospital Program)
Min Jung Kang received her bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell biology from University of California at Berkeley. After briefly working as a lab technician, she went to St. George’s University to study medicine. After completing residency in pediatrics, she worked as a general pediatrician for four years, in primary care and urgent care. During this time, she realized she is interested in disorders of growth and puberty, and decided to pursue a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology to learn more about those disorders.

Heinemann, Joseph, M.D.
Pediatric Endocrinology Fellow
Medical School: Sackler School of Medicine
Residency: Hackensack University Medical Center
Joseph Heinemann received his bachelor’s degree in Talmudic law at the Ner Israel Rabbinical College. He then attended medical school in Israel at the Sackler School of Medicine. After completing his pediatric residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, he returned to Baltimore to continue training in pediatric endocrinology at Johns Hopkins.

Manfredo, Jacquelyn, M.D.
Pediatric Endocrinology Fellow
Clinical/Research Interests: Thyroid Disorders, Disorders of Puberty and Steroidogenesis, Diabetes
Medical School: Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
Residency: University of Maryland
Dr. Manfredo received her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia. After working briefly in environmental engineering, she changed career paths and began her medical education at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. After completing her pediatric residency at the University of Maryland, she continued her training in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins in pediatric endocrinology..
