Vision
Prevent and reduce disability, improve health, and enhance patient experience while reducing costs by delivering the right intervention, at the right time, for the right individual, based on functional capacity measured at the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial levels.

Mission
Create a universal set of tools to measure physical, cognitive, and psychosocial function remotely to allow clinicians, health systems, payers, and consumers to monitor health status and provide personalized health care interventions.

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Research and Precision Medicine

Questions we're asking that inform us on how to best care for patients include:

Level of Function

Can we determine the level of function at the physical, cognitive and social level to identify clinically meaningful groups of patients to prevent or minimize the risk of disability?

Identify Risk

Can we identify patients at risk for poor outcomes by using patient-reported data?

Prediction Tools

Can we develop risk prediction tools to help clinicians select appropriate treatment interventions and monitoring strategies?
