TO THE EDITOR—We thank the authors for their feedback [1] on our article on the latent tuberculosis care cascade among public health clinics in the United States [2]. All study data elements were abstracted from routine clinical documentation available within patient medical records; study data abstraction began in January 2017. Seven sites defined study cohorts prospectively (ie, patients initiating care at the clinic over a 6-month period after January 2017 were included). Seven clinics included a retrospective cohort (ie, patients with an initial clinic evaluation during a 6-month period in 2016 were included); 1 site included patients receiving care between 1 October 2016 and 1 April 2017 (partially retrospective and partially prospective).
