REACH: Research Enterprise to Advance a Cure for HIV
Summary
This project involves the characterization of plasma HIV-1 RNA fromsamples collected from the ACTG study A5386. This trial investigated the use of the IL-15superagonist N-803 alone or in combination with bNAbs in people on ART. The Simonetti lab will use a novel assay to characterize virus in plasma, called CLAWS. The study will assess whether N-803 has latency reversal activity in vivo, and whether intact and 5’Leader defective proviruses are differentially induced to produce viral particles. In addition, the Simonetti lab will help to study the longitudinal dynamics of infected clonotypes of interest
